The Sweden-Singapore CE2 Conference is another initiative carried out by nuStart—and we seek to create value for all parties by exploiting our unique position of hailing from Asia and studying entrepreneurship in Stockholm.

Where the subject of clean technology and environmentalism has been traditionally cast aside or put at the bottom of to-do lists, many Asian states have come to recognise the importance of sustainability in national development and the economy as traditional fuel sources become more scarce and expensive, and the effects of poor environmental policies of the past are beginning to be felt.

As the global awareness of Cleantech propagates through Asia and its populations, this state-of-affairs has created a very large, relatively new market for enterprising Cleantech firms. Sweden’s government and industries have a good record of transparency, which makes them desirable to work with. Sweden’s Cleantech industry is also one of the most advanced of its kind in the world, and we seek to bring this know-how and technology into Asia by providing advice/guidance from veteran hands and helping enterprising Swedish cleantech firms find the appropriate partners to tap into this market.

Hence the birth of the Sweden-Singapore CE2 Conference, with the objective of linking up the appropriate bodies on both sides of the world.  We also believe that such a conference would serve the greater good of everyone involved as this enterprise involves the spreading of Clean Technology which intrinsically has the broad aim of abetting sustainable economic growth and the creation of a healthier, more liveable environment for not only its users but all society.
